Estranyes circumstàncies em porten de nou a publicar en el meu blog. La veritat és que ara per ara he abandonat a nivell professional la il·lustració. Com deia un dibuixant, això és una carrera de massoquistes, i diguem que ja no tinc ganes de patir en aquest sentit. Igualment, he recobrat les ganes d'il·lustrar, i ja he fet algunes coses per alguns amics. La meva xicota me'n demana una per ella. Tot arribarà.

Alone in my own lifeNo ho he abandonat. Almenys no del tot...de moment, he tingut que deixar a temps complet la meva dedicació al ofici d'il·lustrador. Afortunadament, no és una merda de feina de cambrer, o neteja-lavabos (amb tot el respecte pels dos, inclós els lavabos)...sino de profe de mates en una escola. Fins que la cosa no tiri millor en altres àmbits, em mouré en el món de la educació temporalment. De moment, disfruteu de les meves últimes aportacions a Catalunya Cristiana.
Mentre no estic en res, més que buscar noves oportunitats de feina en el país gal, us penjo aquesta il·lustració que li falta el globus. Jo vaig pensar quelcom com: "Sents el silenci de fons?"
Hauria de penjar alguna imatge nova. Malauradament, no estic ara mateix posat en res. Espero ben aviat trobar quelcom que continui la meva fulgurant carrera.

I've been in the Montreuil's fair this last weekend, and it was a very good enjoy. I've met a lot of different people and possible clients. I presented as my work some postalcards, like this page. I showed my works made for Kane Editions and Videopopular. Another feel was to found such variety and risky artistically books. I have to congratulate the french editorial to developp this kind of works. I'm not in this case. With my short career, I prefered to show thing more commercial right now, and maybe later, with another kind of style, to try with things more personal. Even this wish, I have to recognize that my style is very far away from the illustrations I saw in the exposition in Figures Futur. It was amazing!!
Hey everybody!! We've finally finished our comic book!! Yesterday I spoke with my editor and he told me that he already had the comic in his hands. He was satisfied enough with the results and this next weekend it will be on sale in all the different shopping centers in France! That's perfect!! Now we have to wait the answer of the clients...ay ay ay...
It's strange how destiny works. When I visited the contestans'links of the competition I took part, I discovered one who has participed during two years, Javier Ponsoda. Something a little bit surprising. In his web, I saw that he had made a work which I applied for! This was one of my sketchs. I'm able to remember the reasons that made me loose the job...Something like the previous message.
The other day I received a mail from one of mine clients, Videopopular. They explained me that since my last drawing for them my collaboration had stopped. What a pity!! After two years working with them, I'm a little bit sad to let to work in this publication. I dedicate the last drawing to all of you, visitors.
Well, I still working on it. But, as I said before, I like to do it very precisely, so I have been working during all these afternoon. Too much maybe...Except the last case, I think it's okay. Hope so.
No m'esperava tant mal resultat!! Sóc un cregut, i sembla que no n'aprengui.
Després de mirar els finalistes del passat concurs del carnet jove, no pensava quedar fora dels finalistes! La veritat és que hi creia molt en aquest concurs. Pensava que tenia possibilitats! Però, bé, calia no inflar-se massa, i pensava almenys entrar entre els finalistes. Però NI això!! Tampoc no són tan dolents i el meu, reconec que no és tan bo, però...no hi podia haver un lloc per a mi? És en aquests moments desesperançadors que tinc ganes de deixar de crear projectes més personals, i dedicar-me només a produir el que sigui per guanyar el meu pa de cada dia. Ara n'hi ha un per Cavall Fort. Caldrà veure si el faig, però serà amb la intenció de praticar, i no tant per guanyar.
